I am Stephanie Simms, a dedicated mental health clinician specializing in therapeutic services for children and their families. With over 10 years of experience in the human and social services field, I have worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other mental health conditions.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals ranging in age from 3 to 64 years old in diverse settings, including homes, hospitals, group homes, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient services. My experience includes over three years as an in-home therapist and additional time providing care in structured treatment programs.
At the core of my work is my faith in God, which has been a guiding force in both my personal and professional journey. I find strength in the belief that "all things work together for good" (Romans 8:28), and I am committed to offering hope, healing, and compassionate care to those I serve.
